30-Year Veteran Gamer
I spent 13 years at the interface of the ATO and client identity verification, structuring multi-jurisdictional tax strategies for ASX 100 mining groups, global staffing enterprises, and world champion athletes.
In corporate tax, identity isn't a suggestion — it's the foundation. You don't move a dollar or file a document without knowing exactly who is on the other side of the transaction. Technical certainty is the minimum requirement.
When I pivoted into the creator economy in 2025 by building CreatorMoment — a live streaming discovery platform built entirely from zero, with multi-rail payments, OAuth, and AI-assisted tooling — I came in with something most platform founders don't have: 30 years as an actual gamer who knows these communities from the inside.
I thought that background, combined with the infrastructure I was building, would be enough. I was wrong.
While investigating creator fraud on TikTok and Discord, I didn't see moderation errors. I saw structural identity failure. Documented proof of impersonation — including fake portfolios asserting credit for @pokimane's growth — dismissed by platforms in under 30 minutes.
Why? Because platforms are walled gardens. TikTok has no native way to verify a Twitch streamer. There is no cross-platform identity layer. "Link in bio" is easily spoofed and doesn't scale.
I realised my background managing $143M cross-border joint ventures and ATO-rigorous compliance systems was the exact training this moment required. The creator economy doesn't need growth hacks. It needs a cryptographic Source of Truth.
At Hawkins Business Architecture, I build production-ready systems where strategy, technology, and tax intersect. CreatorRegister is the architectural execution of that principle.
If we're going to build a trillion-dollar creator economy, we have to start by knowing exactly who people are.
